The first appointment is primarily an information gathering session, the aim being to accurately diagnose your problem via careful questioning and a physical examination. During the physical exam it may be necessary to partially undress. This will always be carried out with your dignity as the highest priority and it may be useful to wear/bring appropriate clothes (i.e. shorts).
Although this initial appointment is primarily used for assessment and diagnosis, we aim to provide some sort of treatment to aid the healing process.

When you attend your first appointment you will be asked to fill in a registration form by our friendly/helpful reception staff.
